About
The 17th International Conference on Advanced Systems in Public Transport (CASPT2027) and the 11th International Workshop and Symposium on Research and Applications on the Use of Passive Data from Public Transport (Transit Data 2027) will be jointly held in Stockholm, Sweden, from 21 to 24 June 2027, hosted by the KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
Conference on Advanced Systems in Public Transport (CASPT)
The CASPT conference series serves as a leading international forum for researchers, practitioners, and industry partners focusing on all aspects of public transport planning and operations. It covers both theoretical and applied advances in systems, models, and methodologies that enhance the performance, efficiency, and sustainability of public transport systems.
Established in 1975 under the name Computer-Aided Scheduling of Public Transport, the conference has evolved to reflect the growing scope of research and practice in public transport planning, operations, and management. Since 1997, CASPT has been held every three years at venues across the world.
Transit Data
The Transit Data series focuses on the use of automated and passive data—such as smart card, AVL, and passenger counting systems—for research and applications in public transport planning and operations. It provides a platform for exchange between academics, agencies, and practitioners working on data-driven methods and innovative applications in public transport systems.
The first Transit Data Workshop was held in Gifu, Japan, in 2014, and the series has since become the leading international event for researchers and practitioners using automated data sources for improving public transport.
